Last week I came home to find a box laying on my door step. Immediately I thought: Which etsy purchase could it be?! Lol. Which is why I feel it’s appropriate to create a feature – The Etsy Diaries – to capture all of my purchases! The one last week was the picture frame here:
My 8×8 gold filigree picture frame, made in France, which I had sought out to frame the wedding card invitation which I want to place on the receiving table. Let me tell you: it’s hard to a square 8×8 frame! (The dimensions of my wedding invitation.) But when I saw this one on Etsy I thought it was perfect because my receiving table guest book pen is also gold filigree, as is one of my jewelry pieces 🙂
I was inspired to frame my wedding invitation after I went to my friend Virginia’s country chic wedding (full post to follow!) and saw that she had done that with hers. I think it will compliment the red ombré rose bouquet, candle lights and red guest book beautifully. I’m so excited to see how the receiving table comes together on the day of – I think it’s so key for it to be nicely put together because that’s the first thing guests will see, decor wise, and as they say, first impressions are everything!
